Our Story
Growing up as friends in the same town, Jon and Nathan often talked about going into business together. It was in 1998, after completing their university degrees, when they were presented with the opportunity to start a general contracting business with an exclusive client - Panago Pizza. This was the break they needed; and it was what launched Summit Brooke Construction.
New to the industry, Jon and Nathan took the necessary steps to climb the steep learning curve. They traveled extensively throughout Western Canada, being hands-on project supervisors, and made the time to meet with experienced and successful mentors who helped guide the growth of their business.
Over the years, Jon and Nathan have surrounded themselves with experienced team players, which has been essential to the growth of Summit Brooke. Built on the principles of honesty, integrity, hard-work, fairness, and a commitment to quality and thoroughness, Summit Brooke's mission is to become one of Canada’s leading contractors by providing exceptional value and service to their clients.
Summit Brooke is actively involved in our community by supporting various charities and local causes including: Abbotsford Minor Hockey, BC Basketball, Little Britches Rodeo, International Justice Mission, Love 146 and Ronald McDonald House.

A BCIT Business Grad, Jon has been focused on the business side of Summit Brooke from inception. Wearing the multiple hats of an entrepreneur, Jon’s many responsibilities keep him intimately involved in all aspects of the business.
With the ability to balance the long-term strategic requirements of Summit Brooke with the day-to-day realities of managing a business, Jon is able to complement Nathan’s operational savvy, while meeting corporate objectives.
Relationships are very important to Jon, both personally and professionally, and one of the contributing factors to Summit Brooke’s success has been the ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with their clients.

Coming from a successful business family, Nathan knows what it takes for a business to be successful: hard work, drive, total commitment to the customer, and passion for quality. These traits are imprinted upon the DNA of Summit Brooke, and form the basis for the long-lasting relationships enjoyed with clients.
Nathan places a high value on fairness and personal integrity, and this is reflected in Summit Brooke’s relationships with clients, employees and suppliers. Nathan remains committed to the operational soundness of Summit Brooke, allowing Jon to focus on the big picture.
